Seminar Series for blind, visually impaired and all people with disabilities to create new career and employment opportunities.

eSight Careers Network and the Adaptive Solutions for Independence jointly present a series of professional development seminars to help blind, visually impaired and all people with disabilities create new career and employment opportunities. There will be opportunities for networking so participants are encouraged to bring their resume.

On Wednesday, January 10th, 2001, Henry Leshker, Executive Vice President of Bernard Haldane Associates will speak on "How to Tap into the Hidden Job Market". Haldane Associates has over 75 offices throughout the United States, Canada and Great Britain and since 1947 has helped over 600,000 people obtain better jobs and careers.

On Wednesday, February 7th, 2001, a panel of senior level representatives from Goldman, Sachs and Company's executive and administrative search team will discuss "What Does an Executive and Administrative Search Team Look for in a Job Candidate?" Goldman, Sachs and Company is a leading global investment banking and securities firm, providing a full range of services worldwide to clients which includes corporations, financial institutions, governments, and high net worth individuals. Founded in 1869, Goldman, Sachs and Company are one of the oldest and largest investment banking firms.

Both seminars will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The Associated Blind, 110 William Street, 9th Floor (between Fulton and John Streets).
