Rekindling Reform: June 5th - NYC
The League of Women Voters of New York is a sponsor of Rekindling Reform, a joint project of 62 organizations in New York that are working towards affordable health care for all.
League members and friends are invited to Rekindling Reform's Annual Meeting.
Date: Tuesday evening, June 5th
Location: Cherkasky-Davis Center, 1199-SEIU building at 330 West 42nd Street, NYC
Time: Program will begin at 6 PM
Speaker: Dr. Ted Marmor is a highly regarded health policy expert who is a historian of Medicare. Dr. Marmor will be focusing on the political struggle to win affordable, quality health care for all Americans and how the effort to reverse the damage being done to Medicare relates to this struggle.
