Adjustment to Vision Loss Seminar: Sacramento, CA
Taking on The Task of Living
- Are you having difficulty seeing the small print in the newspaper?
- Have you had to give up driving?
- Do you believe that you will have to refrain from the activities that were so meaningful because of your diminished vision?
This seminar is for those who are undergoing changes in their vision that is having an effect on their daily living. It is also for family members or friends who wish to have a better understanding of vision loss and how to best assist those they care about without dominating or taking over. Staff members from service organizations or those working with individuals who are undergoing loss of vision are also encouraged to attend. You will acquire valuable information and learn where resources can be accessed. Demo software will be distributed to attendees as well as resource guides. You will have an opportunity to have hands-on examination of useful technology that can make a world of difference and share common sense solutions that will positively impact your future.

Fee: $20 for the individual with the vision impairment and
$30 for all other participants.
