When Is a Webinar Accessible for Users With Disabilities?
Free EASI Event Tue. Mar. 13 at 2 PM
Presenters: Dick Banks and Norm Coombs
There are at least 3 aspects to making participating in a Webinar or Web conference accessible to users with disabilities:
- The Web conferencing system;
- The way the presenter uses it to make the presentation; and
- The participant's adaptive software and the user's skill in using it.
*** If you are a screen reader user, please consider attending. We want your feedback! We also believe that a good system can be used in ways to greatly reduce its accessibility. Similarly an unfriendly interface can be used in ways to minimize those issues. How it is used is important.
Please register early at the link below so you can install the software in advance and look at the accessibility documentation. http://easi.cc/forms/webinar.htm
