COSD 6th Annual National Conference

Career Opportunities for Students With Disabilities (COSD) has announced that their 6th Annual National Conference will be in Boston and co-hosted by Merck & Co. Inc. and Blue Cross / Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA). Merck will host all of the daytime Conference activities at its brand new Merck Research Center – Boston and BCBSMA will host our banquet on July 20 at their nearby headquarters. Registration fee for the Conference is $100 covering breakfast and lunch both days, the evening banquet on July 20 and all conference materials.
The hotel accommodations will be at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge within a mile and a half of our meeting site. The room rate for the Hyatt is $105 per night plus tax for a total of $118 per night, the best rate in the Boston area for a first-class hotel.
Ollie Cantos of the Civil Rights Division of the US Department of Justice will be their Opening Keynote Speaker. Ollie (pronounced O-lee), a person with a visual impairment, is a dynamic speaker whose great deal of experience in disability includes being responsible for the explosive growth of Disability Mentoring Day and other duties that have bridged all disabilities and many age groups.
