Joanne Caputo’s disability documentary, “ON A ROLL: Family, Disability and The American Dream,” will air on the public television (PBS) series “Independent Lens” in the U.S. on February 15, 2005.
The film follows Greg Smith, the host of a disability talk radio show. In the film, Smith and his family bare all in this unflinching portrait of a 65-pound man striving for the American Dream. Fueled by discrimination, Smith created On A Roll Talk Radio on Life and Disabilities from his power wheelchair in 1992.
